Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started her career as a writer in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy reports. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating however she soon lost interest, and opened a food specialty store named Barefoot Contessa. After selling the store, she spent more than 18 years building it to the most successful shop. The cookbooks were followed by many more, and magazines columnists that came later. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also made its debut which was an enormous hit. The company sells numerous items, from the ingredients needed for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina, who is self-taught, has never studied at the culinary institute or at the hotel. Ina is well-known for her unpretentious style of entertainment as well as her simple cooking. Some of her best known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
