Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actress and singer-songwriter who hails from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music is featured in television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. The younger sister of Taylor Momsen Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. Taylor Momsen studied at Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. Her first professional performance came at three years of age for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake and Bake. Momsen's acting career came to a halt for over three years until she received an acting role as the lead in the WB program Misconceptions. Momsen played a part in Saving Shiloh which was a film from 2006. She auditioned as well for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three, but the role was instead awarded instead to Miley Cyrus.
