Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese origin, and her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with strong roots in the American South. The couple divorced when Olivia was just two years old and she was raised by her stepfather and mother, a member of the United States Air Force. The family stayed across the country, her primary residence is Tokyo, Japan. While in Japan, she acted as a local actress in theater performances and then turned into a Japanese models for fashion. After the family returned home to United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her aspirations of becoming a professional actress. Olivia's professional career started to take off following a few minor role. The role she landed was that of Mily in Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2005) and the receptionist role for Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She is the host of G4's podcasts "The Daily Nut" as well as "Formula D". Her love of surfing has been evident after the TV program Beyond the Break. Also, she has an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. The woman she married was her mother when she was only two years old to an Air Force officer. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather worked. Attended at the University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese and dramatic arts.
